Apple patents pen stylus tech – New iPen or iStylus?

Ok so I hadn’t heard about this CrashOveride filled me in but Apple has filed a patent for some stylus or pen technology for a new type of pen with a more precise point. The current styli for tablets and mobile devices basically suck. The one for iPhones and iPads is just as blunt as your fingers are.  I don’t really get the point.. literally and figuratively. ;)

So if you’ve been looking for a precise pen or stylus for your iPhone, iPad, or other mobile device you may not have to wait much longer.

Engadget.com – Apple Pen Patent

Currently if you want to draw on a screen you need some very pricey equipment. I know of one called the cintiq by wacom. Very dope but about 2k. Out of my price range

When they come out with a tablet with precise drawing and writing tools I’m freakin in :D

Kinect – Damaged, scratched.. DVDs and CDs?

I got a Kinect and a new XBox 360 recently and one of the guy’s from the WildPipe crew turned me onto this article.

Turns out that you might want to put some shock absorbers on your XBox if you’re playing Kinect if you don’t want to damage your discs. I guess the drive is pretty weak and so the jumping around you do while playing games involving the Kinect can cause the disc to wiggle and bounce and get scratched. So if you have scratched disks in your Xbox after playing some Kinect game you might want to put something soft under your XBox. And MS… you might want to think about installing better drives in these things!
